We will continue to collaborate with ecosystem partners to drive high-quality industry growth and jointly build a sustainable future.”

The 2025 China Top 100 Electrical Enterprises ranking is based on enterprises’ 2024 core business revenue, comprehensively evaluating the overall performance of China’s electrical equipment manufacturing companies. The ABB China subsidiaries named to the list include:
· ABB Engineering (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
· ABB Drives Systems (Beijing) Co., Ltd.
· ABB Low Voltage Products (Xiamen) Co., Ltd.
· ABB Switchgear (Xiamen) Co., Ltd.
· ABB High Voltage Motors Co., Ltd.
· ABB Low Voltage Switchgear (Xinhui) Co., Ltd.
In the category awards, ABB Drives Systems (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and ABB Low Voltage Products (Beijing) Co., Ltd. were both named to the Top 10 Leading Enterprises list, while ABB Switchgear (Beijing) Co., Ltd. earned a spot on the Top 10 Innovative Enterprises list. Over the years, these companies have consistently leveraged advanced technologies to upgrade their own factories with low-carbon and intelligent features, establishing industry-leading green smart manufacturing bases. All of them have been certified as “National Green Factories” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Meanwhile, they continue to strengthen local R&D capabilities, providing innovative electrical and drive products and solutions to help customers across industries accelerate their digital and low-carbon transformation.
ABB also shone in the Innovative Products and Solutions category:
· The ABB EcoSolutions™ project and the M2QA IE5 motor green low-carbon solution won Top 10 Green Low-Carbon Solutions honors.
· ABB FlexLite Power Digital-Intelligent Power Distribution Manager and the ABB Motion Control Wired Intelligent Monitoring Solution for Critical Port Equipment were recognized as Top 10 Digital-Intelligent Solutions.
These achievements showcase ABB’s latest progress in green low-carbon and digital innovation:
· EcoSolutions™ Project: A groundbreaking initiative in ABB’s circular economy practice, this project brings transparency to the circular value and environmental impact of products throughout their entire lifecycle, providing decision support for green development. Products bearing this label must meet a series of key performance indicators under ABB’s circularity framework and obtain a third-party certified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). Users can scan a QR code to access product carbon emission data, EPD certificates, and carbon footprint information from upstream supply chains.
· M2QA IE5 Motor Green Low-Carbon Solution: As ABB’s first low-voltage three-phase asynchronous motor complying with China’s Level 1 energy efficiency standard, it features ultra-high energy efficiency, reliable structural design, an excellent insulation system, lower temperature rise, and outstanding customization capabilities. It achieves significant breakthroughs in energy efficiency improvement and shortening the return-on-investment cycle. Typically, the energy loss of IE5 motors is approximately 40% lower than that of commonly used IE3 motors, enabling users to drastically reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, achieving both economic and environmental benefits.
· FlexLite Power Digital-Intelligent Power Distribution Manager: A locally deployed intelligent power distribution station control system, this solution features core advantages of light-asset deployment, flexible configuration, and efficient data analysis. It comprehensively enhances the agility and cost-effectiveness of intelligent power distribution management while ensuring robust data security. Integrated with a digital twin engine and AI-driven asset health prediction algorithms, it enables full-lifecycle equipment management, accurately tracks energy consumption trends, identifies high-energy-consumption links, and leverages carbon emission data insights to achieve green operation goals.
· ABB Motion Control Wired Intelligent Monitoring Solution for Critical Port Equipment: Built on high-precision sensors, data acquisition stations, and an industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) communication architecture, this solution enables 24/7, high-precision, remote condition monitoring of core rotating components in port machinery. It regularly assesses equipment health status, facilitating an intelligent shift from preventive maintenance to predictive maintenance. This effectively avoids unexpected downtime of critical equipment, providing solid data support and decision-making basis for the reliable, safe, and cost-effective operation of port facilities.
